  • Someone who would enjoy working with a multi-discipline technical staff in a dynamic environment?
  • Able to work independently, one-on-one with discipline leads, or in larger groups leading discussions?

Do you believe…

  • Communication, organization, and time-management are critical to success.
  • The success of any project starts with a plan, always evolving to balance quality, cost, and schedule.
  • The plan includes sufficient detail to ensure the project’s success.
  • The best plans include input from all stakeholders and team members.

If so, we are looking for driven, goal-oriented people like you to join our team as a Project Controls Lead.

Here’s what you will need to do:

  • Develop project plans for a portfolio of diverse projects utilizing Microsoft Project and Primavera P6 scheduling software to execute, monitor, and report project statistics associated with engineering and design cost and schedule performance.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate the procurement plan required for each project. Define roles and responsibilities to support procurement tasks and leverage other team members to support these efforts.
  • Establish project controls and actualize progress, including defining operating policies that identify, monitor, and alleviate risk factors that could impact project success. Provide weekly updates with two-week look ahead information to help guide project teams to meet deliverables.
  • Lead project standard reporting efforts both internally and client facing concerning earned value for cost (CPI) and schedule (SPI) indices. Define the best reporting platform(s) for each project such as Vantagepoint, Project Status Tracking Spreadsheet, P6 Reports, or PowerBI.
  • Analyze cost and schedule trends, including resource loading. Review costs and schedule forecasts by project, then roll up to the overall office staffing requirements.
  • Perform data interface between P6 and Vantagepoint timesheet system for project actual labor hours. Work closely with the finance team to streamline the process and accuracy of information.
  • Working with the marketing group, lead our Q&E development associated with project controls, including stage gates, rules of credit, and earned value tracking.
  • Develop our procurement/sourcing best practices, including input to ensure continuous improvement of the Baisch Procurement Website. Lead our Q&E efforts associated with our procurement services.
